Windows Defender updates failing
Anyone else having problems installing Definitions updates for Windows Defender, Win 10 Pro, 64-bit?
Definitions 1.207.354.0 and then two attempts at 1.207.631.0 failed. The last definitions update that installed was 1.205.2388.0, back on 13-Sept.
The latest Flash update installed tonight, even though the definitions update failed during the same attempt to update. So it's not a total failure of Windows Update, just for Windows Defender updates.
Suggestions?

UPDATE:
There are a number of posts on Microsoft's forum with similar issues trying to install Windows Defender definitions 1.207.631.0 in Win 10.
As it turns out - at least on my PC - even though 1.207.631.0 failed twice according to the Windows Update history, Windows Defender actually showed 1.207.631.0 as the installed definitions file. :emotion-42:
And today definitions 757 installed here without any problems according to the update history, which still doesn't show 631 as having ever been installed.
Looks like WD and WU aren't playing nicely with each other... :emotion-40:
