contacted by someone posing as Dell support
I have no current technical issues. Saturday I received a call from someone who identified themselves as dell support. They had my serve tag and I granted them wired online access to my system. they said they had received error messages from my system. I contacted Mcaffee, and they removed all threats from my system. I wanted to alert other Dell owners to thisthreat

Read this and file a report.
And never allow anyone to remotely access to your PC even if they have your Service Tag. Suggest you change your passwords to be safe.
Dell (and Microsoft) will never cold call you. Anyone claiming to be from Dell is likely a scammer.
