It takes atleast 2 min to do anything on this computer. For example, to open notepad you just wait..and wait. I am sure it is a fast machine with P4, i can get more details if needed.

After cleaning the unneccessary progs. i thought the log file would be the best way to find any malicious sws.

This is strange because I really don't see anything in the log that would cause trouble.

So when you say it's dying get me some specifics please.

thanks

S

Steve,

Let's do this,

Run HiJackThis and click " Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

O23 - Service: Waters2777MgrService - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\System32\Waters2777MgrService.exe

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click " Fix checked".

Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders:

files...
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Waters2777MgrService.exe

Note that some of these file(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're ' in use', try deleting them from " Safe Mode".

Reboot and post back a new log, and let me know how everything goes.
Steve
