I bought Dell Vostro 15 3510 3510-5272 with alredy installed Ubuntu.
Unfortunately the fans don't work on Ubuntu. But in BIOS in during the start of the hardware test, the fan turns on and runs. But when the system starts, the fans turn off and do not turn on under load, and the laptop continues to heat up.
For example:
sensors
iwlwifi_1-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +50.0°C
nvme-pci-0100
Adapter: PCI adapter
Composite: +29.9°C (low = -0.1°C, high = +82.8°C)
(crit = +84.8°C)
Sensor 1: +29.9°C (low = -273.1°C, high = +65261.8°C)
Sensor 2: +34.9°C (low = -273.1°C, high = +65261.8°C)
coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Package id 0: +64.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)

Core 1: +62.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 2: +61.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 3: +61.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
BAT0-acpi-0
Adapter: ACPI interface
in0: 12.84 V
curr1: 1000.00 uA
Also in this print I can't find info about fans
Also I tried use
sudo sensors-detect
And say YES for all, but only found
Driver `coretemp':
* Chip `Intel digital thermal sensor' (confidence: 9)
To load everything that is needed, add this to /etc/modules:
#----cut here----
# Chip drivers
coretemp
#----cut here----
If you have some drivers built into your kernel, the list above will
contain too many modules. Skip the appropriate ones!
Also I tried use https://github.com/vitorafsr/i8kutils
git clone https://github.com/vitorafsr/i8kutils
cd i8kutils
make
sudo i8kctl fan 1 1
As result had
-1 -1
Also may be usefull
sudo pwmconfig
# pwmconfig version 3.6.0
This program will search your sensors for pulse width modulation (pwm)
controls, and test each one to see if it controls a fan on
your motherboard. Note that many motherboards do not have pwm
circuitry installed, even if your sensor chip supports pwm.
We will attempt to briefly stop each fan using the pwm controls.
The program will attempt to restore each fan to full speed
after testing. However, it is ** very important ** that you
physically verify that the fans have been to full speed
after the program has completed.
/usr/sbin/pwmconfig: There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed
Have you found a solution to your problem? I understand that without workings fans this laptop is pretty much useless?
