Disable Content Adaptive Brightness - Vostro 5490

Brand new Vostro 5490 here. It seems like Dell brought back the stupid content adaptive brightness that when on battery dims the screen when something dark is on it. This absolutely won't work for me and photo editing and will be sent back if I don't get it resolved quickly.

I've looked in the advanced power settings under display, and the only option is "Turn Display Off After"

Also, the Intel Graphics software only has "disable game mode" under the power options.

Any suggestions before returning it?

This page may help and this one.. It is a bit of an oldie but I believe it still applies.

You can disable this in BIOS/UEFI. Press F2 during startup and search for  that option.

@jwrzesien thanks for pointing that out. For me, the adaptive brightness issue fixed by accessing the BIOS Setup menu, and under Video, and disabling the EcoPower.

@JOcean  Thanks for the links. However, the second one refers to the adaptive brightness based on the ambient light level. The first one refers back to the times when Intel called this feature Display Power Saving Technology (DPST) and made it possible to enable and disable it through the Intel Graphics Control panel. Now this feature is called EcoPower and it can be reached through the F12 BIOS Setup as already mentioned by others.
Too bad, neither Owner's Manuals nor Dell's online support give any info on this stupid feature.

Thank a lot for this help. Its works totally fine now.
