Need Help in Upgrading RAM Vostro 3578

I need to know if I can upgrade my RAM to dual rank type. I knew it from manual, I can upgrade it to 16Gb RAM. But my concern is about which type the motherboard can support.

My Vostro 3578 (FHD display) came with a single 4Gb DDR4 2400MHz 1Rx8 stick, can I replace with 2 pcs of 2Rx8 type? Because it's harder for me to find 8Gb stick of DDR4 2400MHz with 1Rx8 type. So my final RAM composition will be 2 pcs of 8Gb 2Rx8 DDR4 2400MHz. Will it be okay, or not? Thank you.

Check crucial.com for RAM

Nope, there I can only find the compatible DDR4 as long it's 2400MHz, not stating about rank compatibility with my motherboard. Thank you for the response. Any Dell technician could answer? :/

If you don't care about compatibility, I am not sure what is the point! .

No, no...You don't get it, I was concerned with rank compatibility (1Rx8, 2Rx8, 1Rx16, etc) as there is nowhere to be found in any documentation about my laptop.

The crucial.com only gave me DDR4 RAM with 2400MHz, all type without any concern about what I thought.

But there is already from Dell replying what I am looking for. Great...
