Upgrade of RAM up to 8 GB - DELL Vostro 3700 and SSD

Hello, I have a Dell Vostro 3700 Intel COre i5 450m, I will increase the memory from 4Gb to 8Gb, I would like to know how fast memory can be (1066, 1333, 1600, 1866Mgz). And on the other hand if I can change the hdd for an SSD, and if so, how big can it be. Thank you.

Go to Crucial to find out about ram. https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Dell/vostro-3700 Consider saving the money for a new computer instead of upgrading this 9 yr old model. It would be wasting $$$.

8 GB RAM is $58 + $50 for 256 GB SSD

I am not sure I would spend the money.
