Vostro 2520 can't turn on
Hello,
My Dell Vostro 2520 (modell no 2520-4568) does not turn on. If i press the on button the battery led flashes one white and three times Amber. If I change the battery nothing happens, not even led flashing. I tried to drain the residual power (by holding the on button without any power source) but nothing. I also tried another power brick. No luck.
Please help,

Hi, thanks,
I just disassembled the laptop and the connector of the power button was lose. I reseated it and it is working fine now.

By power brick do you mean the adapter? Has the main battery ever been replaced on this 7 yr old model? Sounds like it has failed. Try removing the battery and use the adapter alone. If that works use it like that since buying a replacement battery would not be cost effective and might not even be available since it is so old. It shows as Out of Stock online. Save the money to buy a new laptop.
