Vostro 3590 freeze
Hi,
I have recently purchased this laptop. It has 4GB ram and it hangs quite frequently. I called customer care and they are asking to upgrade the ram. Saying windows 10 needs 8GB ram then why are they selling this laptop.
I called customer care and technical support but no one helped so far.

If the system has McAfee Live Safe, uninstall that - it's a huge resource hog. You may also want to consider removing as many of the pre-installed "bloatware" programs as you don't plan to use, which will also help.
However, what you were told is correct: 4G RAM isn't sufficient to run Windows 10 well, particularly if the system has a spinning hard drive and not a solid state drive in it. As to why the 4G/HDD configurations are sold -- well, it's to meet as low a price point as possible.

Thanks for your response.is it possible to return this laptop and take a ssd one..
tech support is asking for Ram upgrade to 8gb..but what would be better SSD addition or Ram additions
