dell vostro 400 wont power up
A friends company bought all new computers. He gave me one of their DELL VOSTRO 400'S to use. When I plug in the power card in the back, a little green light goes on, but the button in front stays black, not even amber or green. What is the problem ? I am a total amateur

Could be a loose connector from the front panel to the motherboard or connection from the power supply to the motherboard and if no loose connector most likely a defective power supply.
Here is the link to the Dell manual

Power on button OR power supply is dead. Paperclip trick should figure out which.
