vostro 3350 - upgrade processor

Hi, i have dell vostro 3350 with i3 installed (processor code -> SR0DN). i want to upgrade the processor to i5 (processor code -> SR0WY). after the old processor was replaced with new one, try to power on, it only hold on about 3 second and then it power off itself, this condition are repeatedly until i push the power button. after that, i try to replace again the old processor. power on and work normally. any suggestion? are the processor not supported or else. The CPU must be of the same generation as the existing one - Sandy Bridge (part numbers start with a "2").

SR0DN is 2nd-generation Sandy Bridge.  SR0WY is 3rd-generation Ivy Bridge - not compatible with your 2nd generation system.
