RAM read cache
Hello experts
I find default ram read cache is 128M in our sds nodes,there is 192 G memory in our sds nodes, and only scaleio is deployed, how many read cache can be set?

Hello, depending on your version of ScaleIO, please reference your users guide specifically for the following section: Managing RAM read cache. This will explain how to adjust this feature. Maximum cache allowed per SDS is 128GB. If the RAM is less than 32GB, 50% of memory can be used for cache. If RAM is more than 32GB, 75% of memory can be used for cache up to a maximum of 128GB.

Hi, you can use 128 GB RAM max for read cache per node.

Yes, the maximum ram per SDS node is 128GB at this time per the user guide for 1.32.2.

Please see the release notes for ScaleIO 1.32.3, as fixes for issues around RAM cache are included in this release.
