Can I join other vCenter to the VxRail PSC Enhanced Linked Mode ?

Hi experts、

Can I use VxRail 3.5 vCenter PSC for customer's other vCenter and create the vCenter Enhanced Linked Mode ?

My purpose of this configuration is for enabling Cross vCenter vMotion.

Link mode vCenter and vSphere license are existing customer's lisences.

Is this supported?

Hi Bill,

Thank you for your information.

> "currently"

I hope enabling this feature in near future.

I expect it to be implemented in the VxRail 4.0.

Thanks

Hi Bill,

on the following Dell EMC documentation it says that linked mode is supported. Is the documentation wrong or is it supported on VxRail 3.5?

"External PSC is deployed in environments with multiple SSO-enabled solutions, and supports an Enhanced Linked Mode (ELM) that connects multiple vCenter Servers to the External PSC. VxRail administrators have a clear view of all the vCenter Server instances across all linked vCenter Server systems and can create and replicate roles, permissions, licenses, and other key data"

Thanks.

It is not supported when you use the vCenter embedded in VxRail, but is at time of install you configure VxRail to use an external vCenter then that instance can use linked mode.
