Unable to connect esxi host when initial config
Hi guys, Need get response for this problem,
I've been reimage vxrail with vxrail system builder (reimage engine), and when i do the initial state config,
i get this error when i click "validate" :
"VxRail was unable to connect to any ESXi hosts. (VMWEVRL-11020150)"
"The phisical network configuration of the hosts do not match. Please check your networking configuration."
Conditions :
- Use Dell 10G Switch N4064F (clear configuration, no vlan)
- VxRail initial condition after reimage
- No led blinking
- VxRail 120 hybrid, 10G optical, use twinax cable
- VxRail 3.5
What best practice or troubleshooting for vxrail network configuration? we often constrained by network problem while doing testing
thanks for the help... in advance

Hi,
See KB_490408 : VxRail: Validation fails with the following message: "The physical network configuration of the hosts do not match"
This issue can be caused by having one or more nodes not matching the expected network configuration for the build
Use the following command to check the speed of each interface on all nodes:
/usr/lib/vmware/vm-support/bin/nicinfo.sh
I got the same error, in my case two nodes of a vxrail 60 had one interface at 100 Mbs instead 1 Go
Example on one node: (from vmsupport)
Node2: esx-node-89306-2016-10-13--18.05\commands\nicinfo.sh.txt

vmnic3 0000:01:00.3 igb Up Up 1000 Full a0:36:9f:9d:ca:eb 1500 Intel Corporation I350 Gigabit Network Connection
In your case check that all interfaces are at 10 Go.

I faced the same issue, first if you are using two TOR switches you have to check that the port number 1 in each node connected with the first switch and port number 2 in each node connected with the second switch so if you run the validation again it have to pass.

When you say reimage, what did you use and how? I believe I will need to reimage one of our test VxRails however I don't have the procedures or tools to do so.
