VxRail Maintenance Mode Times
How long does it take to enter maintenance mode for VMHosts that are running large capacity virtual file servers?
I've been reading that VxRail is not recommended for large file servers.

Because of the vSAN design might be hard to estimate how long it will take to put node to MM. The factors that will impact it are evacuation mode (don't know what is the default one for VxRail but it should be ensure accessibility) and the number of VM and time to migrate them of to other nodes to cluster.
What if the objects on that node are configured with policy FTT =0 then they must be migrated of from that node as well and it might take time.
I'd say test it and you will see if the objects are move to other nodes/disk groups.
