VxRail customer questions
Anyone know the answer to these?
- I understand the VXRAIL solution needs 4 nodes to form a cluster. Is it possible to purchase 2x VXRAIL chassis with 2 nodes each (for redundancy,) or each appliance has to come with 4 nodes pre-installed?
- Is it possible to add memory and storage to an existing node?

1. As of right now, No. You must have 4 nodes per appliance. In the next release you will be able to add 1 node at a time so it may be possible to do what you are asking. However where are you gaining extra redundancy by splitting across appliances?
2. Disk adds will also be available soon.
