Dell OS recovery download

When using the Dell OS Recovery Tool,  will it download and install the most recent version of Windows 10?

If so, how often should create a new Dell OS Recovery media?

As per the following site, it will install the factory installed version of the operating system. And since it will install the version that came with your computer, once you create the recovery tool you really have no reason to create it again. Now if you decide to clean install then go to Windows 10 site and download the media creation tool. That will give you the most recent version of Windows 10.

And the Windows 10 site.

A Win 10 recovery drive will recover a system back to factory configuration, if needed, but uses the latest Win 10 version installed on the computer.  You need to update that every time a new build version is installed.

I should add, if your system came originally with something other than Win 10, the recovery may not get back the original factory configuration, just Win 10.  If it came with Win 10 then the structure should be in place to be a complete factory recovery.
