How long does one have to Reserve Windows 10? Will you have 6 months or the full year to reserve 10,I have 8.1 on a Dell. Thanks, ChiED

ChiEd,
You only have until July 29, 2016 to take advantage of this offer. Once you upgrade, you have Windows 10 for free on that device.

The offer for the free upgrade is available for a year. No need to reserve after win 10 is released. It will be available without a reservation.

Well how will you get windows 10 if you can't reserve it after it's released??
