Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver blocked (Latitude E6430)

My Latitude E6430 just updated to the latest Windows 10 version last night. My display adapter had a driver issue. I downloaded a new driver from DELL 3 times. Same Issue I went to the Intel site and tried downloading it. Intel tells me to go to Dell because it must come from my hardware provider. I chatted with Dell and they want to charge me over $200 to help me figure out why their driver doesn't work on their equipment (no new hardware) with their driver. the current version of driver is 10.18.10.4885.

The error I am getting is:"The driver for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver. (Code 48)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."

I chatted with Dell and they will not help because my laptop is 5 years old and I don't want to extend the warranty. I find it hard to believe that I can only get help from Dell with an extended warranty i n order to properly download a driver from their site.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/sln312414/dell-command-deploy-driver-packs-for-enterprise-client-os-deployment?lang=en

You need to download the Cab file then move it to the documents folder.

The Driver  is OEM specific

I do not believe the generic driver will install

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28164/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-33-?product=81499

Then install 7zip and extract the cab files into the documents folder by Right Click 7zip extract here. WHICH 6430 you have is not clear.  There are 3 kinds.

 https://www.7-zip.org/download.html

SystemWindows 10 System CAB   Windows 7 System CAB

6430U

A01 (04/12/2016)

A12 (01/12/2016)

E6430

E6430 ATG

A01 (04/12/2016)

A13 (01/12/2016)

E6430S

A01 (04/12/2016)

A11 (01/12/2016)

Once extracted you right click on video and say update driver from my machine in device manager instead of the internet.

I think you tried to install this one- https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/drivers/driversdetails?driverId=XDWX8&osCode=WT64A&productCode=latitude-e6430

That one is the latest and was for the Spectre Intel problem. Here is the previous one which was for video alone--

https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/drivers/driversdetails?driverId=DCG08&osCode=WT64A&productCode=latitude-e6430

It's version Version 10.18.10.4425, A18 which might work better. It was hard to find.

The reason you have to use Dell drivers is that Dell customizes the drivers for your exact model.
