No High Performance option for my Dell Inspiron 5576 after recent updates
Hi Dell Community,
This is my first post so be nice. I have been away for the past month or so but I have occasionally updated my Dell Inspiron 5576 and cleaned it. I did a Windows update a few weeks ago and today I did a BIOS update Dell recommended and the latest windows update.
However, I can no longer find the High Performance power option in the Power settings (I think it's been missing for a few weeks). There is only Balanced (which I am using at the moment) and Dell. I used the High Performance at my own discretion for things like gaming and it was useful when needed. Now, it is suddenly removed and I can't work out why. I can't customise my own power plan and it feels very restricted.
It's very frustrating, so can someone help me out here. Is some SupportAssist/dell program or battery life tool hiding it? I saw some things where you had to enter command lines on the windows32system thing to get it back, but that advice was a while ago so I came here.
Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks
