What could be the problem?
I do not use the newest version of PowerPoint, because I'm used to working in it and I think it's convenient. But recently I ran into a problem and spent a lot of time trying to fix it. When the files are opened, the program interface writes about an error of the given type - An error occurred while accessing .pptx. I can’t imagine how you could mess up important presentations. It will be very difficult to restore them now.

Looks like your powerpoint document was temporarily crashed and in that moment you lost your pages. I would suggest you - IT specialists from MS, created it especially for hard cases with presentations, it is more effective than Open&Repair function that built-in in Application.
To recover pptx online, follow the below mentioned steps:
1. Click File, then choose Save As.
2. Save the PowerPoint file at a new destination with the same or a new name.
