Win 10 password login issues

I need of some help.  I have run out of ideas.

My father has a dell desktop with win 10.  He has had it since feb 2018.  About 3 weeks ago My father called a third party to fix a issue .  Afterwards it now  prompts for a password.  My father never had a password.

he had never set a password.  How can I change the password  and choose to never have it requesr password again.

I have run out of items to try.  looking for some help

You now have malware and backdoors installed by Indian or Russian Hackers.

Its time to buy a new drive and put that one in an enclosure to recover the data.

Nuke and pave or reinstall on a clean drive then only copy over your data.

Well, AFAIK ... it's always had a password. Maybe you had it set to enter it automatically for you on boot-up.

Call the 3rd party technician. Maybe they reset it to something they know.

Maybe you were enrolled into a Microsoft account which requires one (easy to happen). Is this third party known to you and a trusted local repair person? Never allow a voice on the phone to access your computer no matter what. There are scammers out there that will make your life miserable if you let them.

What kind of password? BIOS password, Windows admin password or syskey?

Could you upload a photo of your password login screen?
