Windows 8 to Windows 10 Reinstall

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 7548. The hard drive gave out on me (out of warranty). I bought a replacement and went to dell and got the recovery image. The laptop came with Windows 8 and had a free upgrade to Windows 10. The only recovery option was Windows 8. Is there any way I can get Windows 10 back?

thanks

Once your system has been installed and activated with Win 10, you can do a clean install without entering any License Key, just skip it.  The digital activation takes care of the License.

Getting back any OEM stuff I will assume has to be done by reinstalling the original image, then upgrading, which I would not go through.

Thanks. I put in the clean drive and used a Windows 10 USB image from MS and it worked like a charm. Nice that I didnt have to have a key and it remembered. To be honest its nice not haveing all the OEM stuff eating up resources.

Thanks again!!
