Does a XPS 13 9360 have a TPM chip?

Please can someone help me. I think my system is trying to upgrade to Windows 11. It was going to shut down and update. Yet when it was in the middle of shutting down it shows, ''Alert! TPM not found''. I don't know what to do. I tried looking for a solution and it says to look at the BIOS menu. However, when I look at the BIOS, 'TPM' doesn't show up. I look at the supported system of TPM an XPS 9360 does show up.

In dire need of assistance.

You may have TPM 1.2 in which case the update to go to TPM 2.0 can be found here. TPM should be in the BIOS under Security I believe. Also which generation of Intel CPU do you have, 7 or 8? I ask because at this point pre generation 8 CPUs are not supported but that looks to change with RTM.

I have an XPS 8930 with an i5 CPU that does support TPM, it is enabled in the BIOS and will run Windows 11 (and is currently running preview builds). My machine was built in mid 2018.

The processor is described by Windows in Settings > System > About as "Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU." Intel says it's an 8th generation CPU. You can find out what yours is here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000032203/processors/intel-core-processors.html

Currently, you'll need an 8th-gen CPU or above for Windows 11. And the TPM. You mentioned you think your PC might be upgrading to Windows 11. That's not likely unless you joined the Insider programme,  are running a preview version already and it's set to auto update new builds. Windows 11 is still in development and hasn't been released yet.

This web page information may help. And as Luke717 posted since you have a generation 7 CPU your system, at least at this point, will not be Windows 11 compatible. There is a lot up in the air so far and as the RTM date becomes closer there is so much we are not sure of yet as to the final system requirements.
