Re install Windows 8 and revert to factory settings.

Hi

I had purchased a Dell Inspiron 15R around a year ago, which had come with Windows 8. At that time I required Win 7 since all my software were not compatible with Win 8, requiring me to do a complete format and installing Win 7. I made a mistake of not making Recovery Disks at that time.

Now I wish to do a complete reformat and restore the laptop to its original Factory Settings with Win 8 installed. Could somebody guide me regarding the procedure.

You will need to call Dell Technical Support to procure a Windows 8 Reinstallation DVD. Note I recommend procuring the DVD opposed to the USB as the DVD does not have prebundled software such as McAfee and system drivers which may lower the performance of the system.
