Win 8.1 x84 Dell-Command-Update 2.4 issue

Dell Command Update v2.4.0 loops on driver LNG3DMTR (already installed).

Dell Precision M3800, Bios A14, DCU v2.4.0, Win8.1 x64.

The DCU 2.4.0 reports a recommended driver for the motion sensor.

On installation , this driver (LNG3DMTR v4.11.0046) fails to install via DCU.

The reason for failure is that the exact same driver version is *already installed*, but DCU fails to recognize this.

DCU continues to operate for other critical and recommended updates, but always shows the motion sensor update as not yet installed.

If I manually install the same driver with its GUI, it correctly reports that the target version is already installed.

I note that for Windows 8.1 , the DCU does not recommend to update to a higher version of DCU.
Any suggestions?
