Windows 8.1 crash
Hi all,
I bought new dell dell inspiron 5537 R 15 with windows 8, unfortunately today I saw an add of windows 8.1 in the windows app store and and downloaded it. The problem now when I open my laptop it boots the windows and then only a black screen appears with some flashes of the mouse pointer, I cant access to the computer unless using the safe mode option. The problem because it is new I didnt make a back up disk and I tries from the safe mode but the windows didnt allow me. Is there any way to restore my computer to factory settings or at least to get it work.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I request you to run diagnostics on the hardware components of the system. Press Fn key + power button to launch diagnostics. Refer to the following link as well:

Please reply to this post, in case any error message. In case the diagnostics passes, perform clean boot in safe mode. Click on the link for instruction to clean boot.
