Windows 8 Recovery Disks Clarification - Basic Edition

I have an Inspirion 1521 laptop with Windows 8 and I need clarification about creating recovery disks.  As I understand it (and please correct me if I'm wrong), in the Dell Backup and Recovery tile, there are two disks that need to be created; A Reinstall Disk and a Bootable Backups Disk.  The Reinstall Disk (Factory Backup) is 11.73GB and it labels my USB Drive as "SYSRECOVERY".  Is this the OS only or does this include the Drivers as well?

In the Bootable Backup tile, you can create a "Rescue Disk".  The instructions here indicate that the USB Drive needs to be more than 100GB.

1. In the Bootable Backup, what software is being copied on to the USB Drive?

2. Can the Bootable Disk be installed on the same USB Drive as the Reinstall Disk without affecting the Reinstall Disk software?

Your help will be appreciated.
