AGGHHH! Hello! Supervisor Password Question
:emotion-20:Hi everyone! I am a newbie to Dell. Does anyone know how to disable the stupid (heh-hum, operator error), F2 BIOS SUPERVISOR Password in Windows 7 computer when you start up? In the old days with Windows as probably many of you know, all you had to do was click, click and boom it was gone, now I can't do that (duh). Please forgive this 50 year old neurologically handicapped woman which will explain many things in the future including typos etc.
Thank you!

First, we are users helping users on this forum, we are not Dell employees.
Second what is the model of your PC? We can't really comment without that. e.g. if it's a laptop only Dell support can reset the Password.

Melancolybubbles,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Fireberd is correct. If you have a laptop you will need to contact Dell support and have them reset the bios password. If you have a desktop this is done by moving jumpers on the motherboard. Either way you will need to call 1-800-624-9896.
