ASP.NET MACHINE ACCOUNT (Please Help!!!)
I have a windows 7. This strange new user account ( ASP.NET machine account) showed up on my computer. Does anyone know what it is and will it hurt to delete it. Any help would be appriciated.

As I posted in your other thread; it has to do with .NET framework. According to Microsoft it gets set up when you install .NET Framework version 1. See this note: ASP.NET Machine Account. If you don't do development work that requires it you can probably remove the account without affecting your use of the machine.
