ActiveX Control
I'm conscerned after reading about activeX control. Are activeX controls bad for your system? Some programs you have to install ActiveX control before some programs will download! I have my security settings on default in ActiveX area. If you must download an ActiveX control: Should you take it out of your system after the download, if so, how is this done? Thanks.

ActiveX controls are required for many programs to operate. On the Security tab of Internet Internet Options I have downloading signed ActiveX controls set to Prompt and downloading unsigned controls set to disable. If you are asked to install an ActiveX control by a repurable site (such as Microsoft) it is safe to do so. Once an ActiveX control is installed there is no need to uninstall it.
