Browser---what am I actually using?

I recently switched from a dial-up to a high speed DSL line which is from my local phone company--Qwest. The browser looks to me to be a  Qwest version of Exlplorer, but  I don't know.

At the top of the screen when at the home page it says"Qwest DSL with MSN Premium-MSN Explorer . Is this just their version of IE and if I download IE7 will that change anything? I didn't download IE7 before when I had just dial-up because I figured it would take forever and also have a chance to lose the connection before the download was done, thereby having a half & half browser that didn't work.

Should I download IE7?

I have a Dell Dimension 3000(p4 at 2.8 g) with 1gb of ram. also have Mcafee security suite.

Thanks for helping a non technical computer enthusiast.

No idea what you have, but I downloaded IE7 when I had dialup.  Just takes a while.
