Cannot reformat the disk
I have a Dell Dimension 4500, Pentium 4, 2.4Ghz, 256Mb RAM, XP Home.
I want to re-install XP with re-formating.
When I reach the point of specifying S for suppressing the partition, the procedure says I cannot because it uses it for the current installation.
How can I reformat my disk ?
and/or
How can I re-format the disk outside the XP installation procedure ?
Doing format c: /s with the command line ? Is it the correct syntax ?
thanks for your help
