Always include version of Windows in your posts. ;)

In XP:

For instructions on how to change from 24 to 12-hour time:

Start>help&support

type in search box: 24 hour time

click ok

Choose  "change the way your computer displays the time" from the list

Heh, thanks for the info Ron.  That will allow me to enable 24-hour time on my XP box at home. ;)

No ... I'm pretty sure he does not want my system. I need to send the current motherboard back to be replaced due to multiple hardware failures. The part replacement steps are a good reason why I sometimes wish this homebuilt system was a Dell ...

And I never claim to know everything ... I just know how to find the person that has the answer! It was one of my best skills when I worked in tech support!

OK, enough thread-jacking (by both of us)!

I knew something you didn't?  How can that be...?

Got a better solution for both of you: just SWAP systems!

:D
