Dell Inspiron 2205 All-in One won't power on at all - cord is blue until its plugged into the unit. What could the issue be?
Help please, my Dell All in One 2205 wont power up at all. The cord is blue until it plugs into the unit and then the light goes off. Is this an internal issue and if so, can it be repaired easily?

My cousins computer has the same problem. When you plug into the computer, the lights turn off and you can hear this tick sound. It is definitely an hardware issue. The power adatper get very hot as well.
Tried this tick, I can turn it the PC on with few trials.
1) Plug in to the computer without pluging the power adapter to the wall socket.
2) Plug the adpter to the power outlet.
3) If it doesn't turn on, tried it few times then it will turn on.
I am disappointed with Dell PC. Their quality is not as good as HP.
