Dell Support 3.1

When I try to install this update, I get this message: 'External error 2753.dsagnt.exe'. Anyone know what this is?

Try downloading the latest: 3.2.1.

I have had my Dell E510 for eight months and went to the Drivers & Downloads page for my particular Service Tag.  From the long list, most of which didn't apply to my computer, I downloaded the BIOS update and Dell Support 3.2.1 just out of curiosity.

After installing 3.2.1 I got some kind of script error and after some messing around, removed it with Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel.  Then I deleted the Dell Support folder in my Program Files and reinstalled 3.2.1.  It runs fine and found a couple more updates for me to install.  I ran the Dell Tune-up  to see what it did...interesting.

Also ran Dell's PC Checkup on the Web...interesting too. It says I needed XP-KB906569 so I downloaded that from Microsoft.

I would disable DSAGENT.exe in my start-up files and see what happens...I use WinPatrol.exe to manage my start-up files.

This is what DSAGEMTdoes:

Final note.

Dsagent.exe isn't even on my computer...maybe it was in the Dell Support I deleted prior to reinstalling 3.2.1
