Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card: no driver for Windows 7 64 ?
Hi All
I’ll install Windows 7 64 bits soon on my Vostro 1720 and I am gathering its drivers.
I’d like to download the driver for the WIFI component of this Vostro, driver for Win7.
The device manager says the WIFI component in the PC is "Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card".
On Dell.com, on the Drivers’ page, when I choose “Windows 7 64 bits” in the drop down menu, I cannot find any available driver for "Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card"
Why? Will it be added soon?

I found this one for a different model PC, but it is a W7 64bit driver for the 1397 mini card
"Supports Dell Wireless 1397/1510 WLAN on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 operating systems"

The driver you told me about won't install as a dialog says it's not compatible with the Vostro laptops. I then tried with the Windows Vista driver and it worked fine.
