Dell XPS M1330 with Windows XP performance not working with Dell Media Direct 3.3

I became frustrated with Windows vista and decided to do a system overall to my XPS M1330  i installed 4gb ram and a 500gb hard drive, partitioned the drive with the media direct disc and then installed my OS  when the laptop is off and i attempt to boot into media direct i get an error message after a few minutes stating that "Microsoft Bitlocker may be enabled"   additionally i can not boot back into windows unless i go into the boot menu and select HDD

i assume it is because i need an XP compatible version of DMD but i cant find the 2.0 version any where.  any help would be welcomed!!
