Inspiron 15R 5537
Win 7 Pro x64
I have found and installed the Dell Wireless 1705 WLAN adapter driver
So far, unable to locate the following drivers
Ethernet Controller
SM Bus Controller
USB Controller
USB2.0-CRW
These drivers exist for Windows 8, but I cannot find any of them for Windows 7. The Ethernet controller is the priority for me.
Ethernet controller should be a Realtek RTL8106E

All of those drivers are for Windows 8, I need Windows 7 Pro.
But I did find the driver for the NIC:

I also need the drivers for the Fn keys. I Downloaded the windows 8 version of quickset and I can use Fn+F2 to turn the wifi on and off, and I can adjust the volume with F11 and F12.. but the brightness will only go up or down one notch, and the touchpad won't turn off at all.

You need the Intel Chipset and Intel Management Interface. Try installing the following 2 drivers from Intel:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=816&DwnldID=20775&keyword=intel+chipset&lang=eng
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23091&keyword=intel+management&lang=eng
If not try the drivers from the Inspiron 5437:
http://ftp.us.dell.com/FOLDER01403574M/3/Chipset_Intel_W74_W84_X03_A00_Setup-VD5G4_ZPE.exe
http://ftp.us.dell.com/FOLDER01491206M/1/Chipset_Driver_1Y2J2_WN_9.5.0.1393_A01.EXE
You also need the Realtek Card Reader from the Inspiron 5520:
http://ftp.us.dell.com/FOLDER01134419M/1/Chipset_Driver_H1VVY_WN_6.2.8400.39034_A03.EXE
For the Ethernet RTL8106E you can take the Windows 7 Driver from the Inspiron 5437:
http://ftp.us.dell.com/FOLDER01496204M/1/Network_Driver_6CM49_WN_8.013.0314.2013_A01.EXE
You can try the Windows 7 Synaptics Touchpad Driver from the Inspiron 5437:
http://ftp.us.dell.com/FOLDER01484600M/3/Touchpad_Synaptics%20_W74_W84_X00_A01_Setup-5PJV7_ZPE.exe
The other problem is Dell Quickset which unfortunately Dell lock to certain systems and Operating Systems. You can try the Windows 7 Quickset from the 5437 http://ftp.us.dell.com/FOLDER01488477M/3/APP_QuickSet_W74_W84_X00_A01_Setup-828WX_ZPE.exe but likely it will say unsupported system.

You can use the same Win 8 driver for Win 8.1. If you find WB64A in the OS version you can go ahead and choose the driver.. WB64A means Windows Blue (A) Windows 8.1

They already do on the ftp website:
http://ftp.dell.com/published/Pages/inspiron-15r-5520.html
In particular:
Intel HD4000: http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01708871M/2/Video_Intel_W8.14_A00_Setup-KK6CK_ZPE.exe
AMD 7670M/7730M: http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER01725911M/1/Video_Driver_9NNDW_WN_13.151.0.0_A00.EXE
However I advise installation of the 8.1 chipset drivers before the video driver.

Hey,
I found this website very helpful:
http://www.microsoftlivesupport.com
You need not sit and search for the fixes. Most of the issues are resolved for free and they don't push you for sales unless a maintenance is required.
You can chat with them by clicking on the chat button and they resolve the issues in minutes by taking your computer remotely.
They are my local technicians as they charge you very less than other local technicians and remote support services.

Not working man. Intel and their drivers are always pain. AMD drivers installs right but then I can't watch movies or play games (choppy graphics)
For now only AMD drivers directly from AMD's site (13.9) works perfect but Intel HD 4000 is not working.
