How do I enable ALL ActiveX controls?

Question

I've been here

and edited the registry to try to make activex work but it still doesn't work.

So, how do I enable all activex comonents? I've tried going to Tools-->Internet Options and enabling all activex options in the security tab but it doesn't work

Why would you need to edit the Registry to enable Active X?

I don't know. I keep getting the 'Your security settings prohibit ActiveX from running...' error message, and now I can't activate Norton. I've enabled all activex controls in Tools->Internet Options->Security->Custom Settings
