How to open and extract files from Dell System Driver Updates without installing them?

Is there a way to extract Dell System Driver Updates without the executable actually trying to load the files to the system that opened them?

The reason I am asking is that it is quite frustrating to do a new install of OS by setting disk drives to IDE mode for compatibility instead of using AHCI directly. Later I load the needed drivers and set the system back to AHCI mode and PRAY it works! It becomes especially frustratating for chipset and graphics drivers.

If I could get the drivers extracted from the service updates I could wite them to media and have the system install SATA or other drivers upfront during the OS load.

Since I am using another computer to download and open files I dont want the executable to install those drivers to the one I am using for the downloads! I want those files only for new media using programs like Winlite to create a total emergency and unattended re-install media.

Many of these are .EXE. If they are .EXE then rename them to .ZIP files.  ZIP and Cab files can have the contents extracted via 7zip's extract here.

Then put them in a folder.

Then download 7zip and install.

https://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Right click on the zip file using 7zip and say EXTRACT HERE.

Dell puts PE drivers and other drivers into a single cab file for muliple familys of Dell.
