I have an Inspiron 530 running W7. It is in a cycle which ends in launch repair but will not go further. I tried to go into command prompt from safe mode but it will not continue. It just goes back to same launch repair screen. How do I get to system re
I have an Inspiron 530 running W7. It is in a cycle which ends in launch repair but will not go further. I tried to go into command prompt from safe mode but it will not continue. It just goes back to same launch repair screen. How do I get to system restore?

First run the diagnostics to check that the hard drive hasn't failed. Continuous start-up repair loops are commonly caused by a failing hard drive. See my wiki Windows Reinstallation Guide and Related Wikies:
