Inspiron N5110 Recovery

Hello

I am attempting to complete a factory recovery on this N5110 laptop.

I get to the point of the System Recovery Options / System Image Recovery and that is where the problem is.

It seems that Recovery cannot find a system image on this computer.

The system image partition is available and unaltered since purchase. 3 partitions are shown under Disk Management: 100MB (OEM Partition), 14.65GB Active (Recovery) partition, and a 451GB NTFS OS partition. Everything required is available...

I am unable to create the recovery media.

What can I do to fix this?

Hi Vince.C,

Please refer to the link below for steps on restoring the system to factory settings.

http://dell.to/16payKB

Click on the link and chose the operating system.

Note: Please back up all your data before restoring / reinstalling Operating system on the machine.  Dell will not be responsible for any data loss/ data back up after operating system reinstallation.

At times, the recovery image may get corrupted.

Also, let me know what issues you face while creating the recovery media and the application used for the same.

Keep me posted with the information. I will be glad to assist you further.
