MBR
My new Inspiron 5759's MBR was removed by Norton Utilities is there any way to replace without losing all my information. It will not boot into windows and I think Norton Disk Doctor is the problem

Mosfet1,
You do not mention the installed OS. Below is a link that may proivide some information for resolving the issue. If that does not work you may want to contact Norton.

Jesse thanks for the information but I could not get it to work. When I ran the rebuildbcd it identified windows installation when i answered yes to add installtion to boot list the response was that the requested system device could not be found. Norton was no help as they said to contact microsoft said it was a norton caused problem not microsofts and everyone just wants to wipeout and reinstall which i am not ready to do just yet
