Move OS to new computer

Hello, 

I am getting ready to buy a new Dell desktop because the one I have now is old and not working too well anymore. I currently have a Del desktop with windows 7 that came pre-installed. Is there any way to move this windows 7 to another non-dell computer I was given. The computer I was given came with no OS so I would like to transfer my current OS to it. 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

No theres not the license is OEM which means its tied to the original hardware.

Reloading Windows 7 on the Dell Desktop will restore a lot of the lost performance. Use the latest version of Dell Backup and Recovery and make a Bootable USB (16 GB USB Flash Drive). You can replace the HDD with a SSD to greatly improve the performance. Then boot from the USB and restore the factory settings.
