My Laptop is constantly updating and restarting.
Was wondering if anyone knows of an auto download or update that may be causing a constant "loop" of updating and restarting? Seems to have been going on for about a month now. I get a pop up at least once an hour that says there are updates ready to install which will require you to restart. I finally had to change the auto updates/install to ask when to install to have some control over the restarts. I appreciate any suggestions.

You neglected to mention what application you're being prompted to update..

Sorry ~ McAfee seems to be the most common.

Just to clarify, when you say McAfee "seems to be the most common" are you saying there are other applications you get prompted to update as well?
Also, did you install McAfee a month ago afterwhich you started getting the prompts? Point being, if you've been running McAfee right along without issues and the constant update prompt suddenly began showing up it could be one or more files have been corrupted, in which case uninstalling McAfee, rebooting, then reinstalling it 'may" resolve the issue.
