Need help for fresh install of windows 7 on new drive;have no original Dell DVD :(

Hi

Can any one help me with my fresh install of windows 7 on a new drive on my xpsL501 ?

I want to replace the hard drive with a new larger one, want a fresh install of windows 7 home premium but don't have the disk that may have come with the laptop when it was bought.

I have the windows authentication code on the back on my laptop but I can't get the installation iso as Microsoft website says that the code is for a OS that came preinstalled and hence I need to go back to Dell!

I do have a DVD from DELL that says 'Drivers and Utilities' for  preinstalled software  and it says it contains Device drivers and Diagnostics.

If you could help me with

1.firstly to get hold of the win 7 installation iso or disk

2.Then do I just use the dvd with Drivers provided by Dell and update everything ?

3.Anything else that I should do.

Apologies and thanks to anyone who can help me out. :) Megan

You should follow the instructions here to Download a Media Refresh 2011 .iso from Microsoft and update it so it has basic drivers for your hardware (e.g. USB 3.0 support):
