Need some assistance

I can`t install xp x64 and could really need some help. I have slipstreamed the SATA RAID drivers to my installation cd but I get this message during instalation.

The device associated with following device driver will not work correctly on this computer: iaStor.sys The device driver is not compatible with the x64 based version of windows your computer is running

it seems that I need an intel chipset storage driver to complete this installation. But I don`t know where to find this.

Hope somebody can help me

My specs are:

XPS 420 VIIV Q6600 QUAD CORE PROCESSOR 2
MEMORY 3GB DUAL CHANNEL DDR2 667MHZ [2X1
HARD DRIVE 640GB SERIAL ATA2 RAID 0 STRI
VIDEO CARD 256MB ATI RADEON 2600XT

Did you use the 64-bit version of the SATA RAID drivers?

You should edit your post and remove the service tag number. You should not be giving this number out to anyone but Dell.

You can try it; however, Vista drivers may or may not work with XP. For 64-bit operating systems, you must use 64-bit drivers for ALL hardware devices (printer, video, CD/DVD, etc). Maybe someone else here can help you find 64-bit drivers for you.

I downloaded the OS Pre-Install Driver from dell. I can only choose from vista 32 or vista 64, so I chose vista 32. Should I download the driverpackage from the vista 64 section?
