Not successful in repairing/re-installing Windows 10 on Inspiron desktop

Windows 10 is not booting on my Inspiron 546 desktop.  I ran the diagnostics at startup and it said all of he hardware passed.  After trying many times to boot off of the hard drive, I booted from a Windows 10 VD.  After booting from this DVD I had the choice of an "upgrade" or a "custom" installation.  When I hose the "upgrade" option I got the following message:  "The computer started using the Windows installation media.  Remove the installation media and restart your computer so that Windows starts normally.  Then insert the installation media and restart the upgrade."  I can't use this option because Windows will not start "normally."  I tried the "custom" option as well and received the information in the capture below.   It seemed odd that there were several partitions but I tried to install on all of the partitions but none were successful.  Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Dell doesn't list your desktop as a windows 10 upgrade nor does Dell list any drivers for windows 10.

www.dell.com/.../drivers

However, if you still want to update to windows 10 at your own risk, I'd  check for any fail windows updates. If you have fail windows updates the system is probably corrupt. You need to run the System File Checker tool (sfc/scannow) on your computer.

Note: Before you attempt to upgrade, please backup your files, music, photos and create a system image to an external drive - recommend 1or 2GB - Seagate external drive). Good Luck !

If your operating system is windows 7,I'd keep it. Windows 7 is still a great program.

Back up all your data onto an external hard drive using Fedora:

After you've done this remove the external hard drive. Create Windows 10 TH2 installation media (don't install):

If your system shipped with Windows 7 ensure you have your 25 digit OEM product key from the COA.

Boot from the USB and use Diskpart → Clean All:

Once your drive is Clean use the Windows 10 TH2 installation media to clean install Windows 10 TH2:
