PowerDVD on DELL system will not install

i am getting the error message "This software can only be installed on a DELL system".  but, i am doing just that!  i had to format and re-install winblows.  i used the DELL WinXP Home SP1a CD to re-install and i am using the same PowerDVD install CD that came with the system.  please tell me how to fix this.

i know the reason now is probably because the DELL motherboard has been replaced with a real motherboard (ASUS P4P800-VM).  please advise on how to install the DELL software with this new hardware

Since the motherboard has been changed, the BIOS is where Dell keeps information along with a partition on the harddrive.

You will have to do a clean install of XP.

Then you will have to download the drivers for your system. Go to the top of this page and click on "Technical Support" then click on "Drivers and Downloads" Since the motherboard has been changed, not all the drivers for your system will work. Choose wisely.
